Why sail this winter in the Grenadines after the passage of Beryl?
This winter, you have all the good reasons to come and sail in the Grenadines:
After Cyclone Beryl hit on July 1, residents are working very hard to clean up the damage. The Tobago Cays have been restored and cleaned up by Capt'n Neil and many volunteers. Everything is back to normal.
Last week, Jérémie Tronet planted coconuts at Petit Tabac. Electricity has been restored and reconstruction is underway on all the islands. International aid has been deployed. The British sent a shipment full of mobile homes and construction materials. There has been a strong commitment of international aid.
The economy of the Grenadines is 100% dependent on tourism and therefore on you. In our opinion, this is the best reason to return to sailing this winter. We need to support these people when they need it most. Most of the hotels were damaged, but not our fleet.
And let's not forget that the Grenadines remain the most beautiful place to sail in the West Indies with superb underwater depths that have remained perfectly intact.
