On January 1, 2024, we received SPICY RUM, a brand new Dufour 37 (2024). At the time of writing this article, we have rented this boat for a gross amount of more than 85k USD, which is 33% of the value of the boat. Once the brokers’ commissions was paid, we were left with about 75k USD, or 28% of the value of the boat. And all this, in four and a half months. And we still have seven months of rental left in the year. This boat will be fully paid for in less than five years.

We currently have one and possibly two people who each want to buy 25% of the shares of the boat. We are looking for investors for the remaining shares. 40' catamarans have become very popular.
